two policemen came and went into our basement with their guns out. it was like a scene straight out of a movie.
they think theres a good chance that someone walked in through the door which was left unlocked, heard people inside, and left.

though it really makes no sense for anyone to be in our house, considering weve been walking around decorating and christmas carols have been playing and sams been barking. why would someone stay in the house if they heard that? and now that moms talking on the phone to the police, i reeeally doubt anyone would STILL be in our house, unless they have some sort of bazooka or something...
